Who is autism coaching for?

Clients may have an official diagnosis of autism or may be self-diagnosed. Clients may live anywhere. However, at this time, coaching through Phoenix Insight to Thrive is only available in English. Clients may be speaking or non-speaking. We will adjust and adapt to the individual's communication strengths and styles. We are located in Northern Idaho/Eastern Washington, so those who live in the are may choose to meet in-person.

How do you create success for your clients?

All services are individualized and take into the consideration the client's needs and interests. Clients with shorter attention spans or difficulty sitting down for long periods of time may choose 30 minute sessions. Successful clients understand and accept the necessity of them taking actions toward their goals outside of coaching sessions. The work doesn’t end when the session ends. Those who are motivated to accomplish a goal are highly successful.

What types of skill building do you provide?

Common skill building areas may be executive function, self-advocacy, employment, navigation of social situations, time management, organization, planning, connecting with additional resources, building confidence, and independent livings skills.

How much does coaching cost?

The cost of sessions may be determined in the free initial session. Phoenix Insight to Thrive will take some clients at a discounted sliding fee scale rate. Unfortunately, insurance does not currently pay for autism coaching. However, if the goal is employment, individuals are encouraged to reach out to their local Vocational Rehabilitation office and inquire if the office will help pay for coaching towards employment goals.

Agreed upon payment is due prior to the session (with the exception of the free, initial 30 minute session).
